Are you a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) looking for a locum tenens role in Michigan? We have an ongoing locum opportunity available in the Lewiston, MI area for a dedicated CRNA to join a well-established hospital-based anesthesia team. This role offers the chance to practice in a collaborative and supportive environment, handling a variety of surgical cases alongside experienced professionals.
Position Details:
- Role: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Location: Near Lewiston, MI
- Type: Locum Tenens, ongoing need
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- Supervision: Supervised by an MDA with a typical supervision ratio of 1:2 or 1:3
- Trauma Level: Level 3 trauma facility
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care primarily for adult and geriatric surgical cases, with occasional pediatric patients.
- Perform general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, and ventilation management.
- Handle an average of 25-30 surgical cases per day.
- Work in a team environment with a supportive OR staff, including five main operating rooms, two procedure rooms, and one dedicated OB C-section room.
Requirements:
- Active Michigan CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Malpractice coverage included within the hourly rate
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred, though not required
Additional Information:
- Documentation Needed: Updated CV (including locum history), NPI or license number, malpractice documentation, and references if available.
- Facility Details: Hospital-based practice with no ICU coverage required.
