Position: Cardiac Anesthesiologist Location: Pittsburgh, PA MPLT Healthcare is looking for physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologist with highly competitive pay rates in Pittsburgh, PA. Position Details:
2 weeks coverage per month
Monday - Friday (7:00am - 4:00pm)
Weekdays -On-Call (4:00pm -7:00am)
Weekend Call - 24 hours - will include weekend call - see above
Caseload includes: cardiac surgery , coronary artery bypass and valve replacement, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, cath lab cases, endovascular coverage
6 Cardiologists, 1 Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgeon, 1 Thoracic Surgeon
2 Cardiac OR's, 9 General OR's
3 Cardiac Cath Labs
24/7 dedicated cardiac anesthesia team
12-bed CVICU
Non-invasive cardiology areas
Cardiac Rehab Unit
EMR - GE Centricity (Outpatient), Cerner (Inpatient)
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
TEE Certification required
Cardiac Fellowship - preferred
How many cases per day? Case load 2-10
Any NP/PA support? NO
CRNA's in all cases Yes
