Locum Tenens Opportunity: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Near Spartanburg, SC (ASAP - Ongoing)
We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position near Spartanburg, SC. The assignment will begin ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled CRNA looking to contribute to a high-functioning team in a hospital setting with a variety of cases.

- Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.

- Reason for Coverage: Expansion of coverage
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based, primarily focusing on bread-and-butter cases. Heavy GI case load with no requirements for hearts, heads, or OB procedures.
- Number of Operating Rooms: 26
- Average Number of Pain Management Cases: 4, potentially more if GI cases increase.
- Patient Age Demographics: Mostly adults, with occasional healthy pediatric ENT cases.
Responsibilities:
- Procedures Required:
- General surgical cases (Adult)
- Ventilation management
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Certification & Licensing Requirements:
- Board Certification (AANA): Required
- State License: Active South Carolina license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- Experience: Candidates must have relevant training and experience in the field.
- Local Provider: Highly preferred for logistical ease and immediate availability.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be board-certified and hold an active South Carolina license, with experience handling general anesthesia and ventilation management. Local providers are highly preferred due to the urgent need for coverage, and familiarity with hospital-based settings will be a strong asset.
