We are actively searching for a skilled and experienced CRNA to join our team and provide short-term support to accommodate increased surgical volume over a five-day period. This locum tenens position offers a focused schedule with no call requirements, allowing you to concentrate on delivering exceptional anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures.

What You'll Do:



  • Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments for adult patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures.

  • Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

  • Administer a variety of anesthesia techniques, including general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC), to facilitate surgical procedures effectively.

  • Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and respond to intraoperative emergencies to maintain patient well-being throughout the surgical process.

  • Provide post-anesthetic care and recovery support, ensuring a smooth transition for patients following surgery.

  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other surgical team members to promote patient safety and a positive surgical experience.


Who You Are:



  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia (required).

  • Current and active license to practice in Arizona (only).

  • National Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (required).

  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (required).

  • Competency in performing nerve blocks (required).

  • A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered anesthesia care in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills to ensure patient safety and respond effectively to intraoperative emergencies.
