  Key Responsibilities:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs and echocardiograms (if available at the facility).
  
  
  • Provide ongoing patient education and support to manage chronic cardiac conditions.
  
  
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and referring physicians, to ensure seamless patient care.
  
  
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system.

  Qualifications for Success:

  
  
  
  
  • Current board certification in Cardiology is mandatory.
  
  
  • Valid and active medical license in the state of North Carolina is required. We are not seeking willingness to relocate or obtain additional licensure at this time.
  
  
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and DEA are mandatory.
  
  
  • Experience using EPIC, the electronic medical records system used at the facility, is required.
  
  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and staff.
  
  
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.
