DATES/Schedule: May 16 - Nov 16 CALL ONLY
Work Schedule: M-F days start at 7a, Weekends start at 8a
Provider will likely work 1x24 hour shift and 1-2 12xhour shifts per week, could be day or night shifts. They are in the hospital that full 24 hour shift, there is a call room where they can rest.
Staff Information: 1 Surgeon, 5 APPs
Patient Information: Usually have 3-5 surgeries per week
Cases include CABG TAVR, Robotic Thoracic cases (not required), no Vascular.
Inpatient census: 1-2 CVICU ppd and 5-6 step down 5ppd
Outpatient: 2 ppd
Required Procedures/Skills: EVH,Maquet, Hemopro 1
Advanced procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, vent mgmt
Provider will do surgery, rounding and clinic work
Certifications: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support; BLS- DEA & Controlled Substance Permit Required
