Locums Intensivist Needed in Alaska



  • Start ASAP - ongoing

  • Offer 7-12 consecutive shifts per month

  • 12 hour shifts, days only

  • See 7 patients per shift

  • The team performs daily multidisciplinary care rounds in the unit, to include RT, Pharmacy, Nursing, and ICU Doc

  • 15 bed ICU

  • They have CCRT, IABP, variety of ventilator treatment options, bronchoscopy availability, and more

  • They have an active surgical staff that refers patients to the service for collaboration on medical issues, Cardiology service, and provide care for many trauma patients

  • Locums-to-permanent option available

  • Provider will collaborate well with the ER physicians as well as the Hospitalist group
