Board Certification Requirements
Will accept Anesthesia Critical care background
Will accept Surgical critical care background
Shift start time/end time 7a - 5p (10 hours on site); 5p - 7a (14 hours available by call, can be called back in)
Typical schedule 5 - 7 on; 7 off
Days only
10 - 15 Patients per shift
Closed ICU
Length of assignment is 3 Months, 1-2 week per month
Procedures required: a-lines, central-lines, intubations, chest tubes
Physician will be supervising ICU Hospitalists and APCs (APNs and PAs)
Physician will be treating patients themselves
