Emergency Medicine physician needed to join a large group in Western, New York. You will work a 12 hour shift. You will work with a Physician Assistant.  You will see 45 patients per day or 12,500 annually. They use electronic medical records. The hospital has 220 beds. 120 beds are acute and 100 SNF. There are 16 Emergency Medicine physician's on staff at this hospital. The hospital has low acuity. Other specialities on staff are: Orthopedic Surgery, Pediatrics, Surgery, Oncology, Gastrology. All other specialties are on call. The population is 30k. Very low cost of living. NYC is 4 hours away and Rochester is 2 hours. You are minutes from the Fingerlakes, which offers a number of water activities year round. This is an employed position. You will earn $150 per hour, plus malpractice insurance with tail.
