Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join five existing Board Certified Emergency Medicine ; It is expected that the person accepting this position would obtain and/or maintain their board certification throughout their ; This opportunity includes twelve – 12 hour shifts per ; The shifts run 6:30 to 6; Day and night shifts are shared among the group.  

The Emergency Medicine Department is staffed with 24 hour MD coverage and has a full compliment of sub-specialists ; The acuity rate is consistent with a 24% admission ; The department sees 13,000 patients per year ( patients/ hour).  Four – 3-man paramedic teams are available for transfer of patients requiring care unavailable at Holy Family ; Approximately 15 patients per month are transferred to a tertiary care center located within 30 minutes by ground.
