Position Description

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at a Freestanding Emergency Room near Anna Maria, FL. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who are Board-Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). We are also considering Internal Medicine and Family Medicine board-certified providers with extensive Emergency Medicine experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a Freestanding Emergency Room.


• Coverage: 24-hour physician coverage with seasonal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support.


• Patient Volume: Manage an annual patient visit volume of approximately 13,500.


• Pediatric Care: Utilize separate pediatric waiting areas, triage, and dedicated pediatric bays.


• Imaging and Diagnostics: Access state-of-the-art imaging, including CT, ultrasound, and radiology.

Facility Features

• EMR System: Utilize Meditech P-doc EMR and M-Modal Dictation for efficient documentation.


• Integration: Fully integrated with Fawcett Memorial Hospital, ensuring seamless care handoff for patients needing inpatient admission.


• Specialist Support: Collaborate with excellent intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Must be Board-Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).


• Experience: Internal Medicine and Family Medicine board-certified providers with extensive Emergency Medicine experience will be considered.


• Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in the state of Florida.
