What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments in a fast-paced emergency department setting.


• Make critical diagnoses and treatment decisions, ensuring timely and effective interventions for a wide range of medical emergencies.


• Perform essential emergency procedures, including suturing, laceration repair, airway management, and others as needed.


• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Prescribe medications and manage patient care plans effectively, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.


• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and the healthcare team during high-stress situations.


• Document medical records accurately and thoroughly to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

Who You Are:

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine (BC/EM) or board-eligible for Emergency Medicine certification (preferred).


• Physicians board-certified in Family Practice (BC/FP) or Internal Medicine (BC/IM) with extensive emergency department experience will also be considered.


• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.


• Active medical license in the state of Wisconsin (mandatory).


• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license (required).


• A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department environment.


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
