Who You Are

• Board certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine by the ABEM or AOBEM.


• Valid Virginia medical license is mandatory.


• A minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in a fast-paced emergency medicine setting is required.


• A passion for Emergency Medicine, a commitment to providing exceptional care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.


• You possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the emergency department, including clinical operations, quality improvement, and physician relations.


• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.


• Oversee departmental budgeting and resource allocation.


• Collaborate with hospital administration on strategic planning initiatives.


• Champion continuous quality improvement and patient satisfaction within the emergency department.
