Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with emergency department leadership and hospital administration to align departmental goals with the overall mission of the facility.

  Policy Development and Implementation:

  
  
  
  
  • Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies and protocols.
  
  
  • Ensure all providers adhere to established policies and procedures to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.

  Staff Coordination:

  
  
  
  
  • Oversee the scheduling and staffing of physicians to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operation of the emergency department.
  
  
  • Coordinate the hiring and onboarding of new physicians as needed.

  Quality Assurance and Improvement:

  
  
  
  
  • Lead initiatives to improve the quality of care, patient outcomes, and overall patient experience.
  
  
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

  Patient Experience and Flow:

  
  
  
  
  • Monitor and enhance patient flow and experience in the emergency department.
  
  
  • Implement strategies to reduce wait times and improve patient satisfaction.
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 
  

  Qualifications:

  
  
  
  
  • MD or DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine.
  
  
  • Active medical license in the state of Wisconsin.
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Experience:

  
  
  
  
  • Significant experience in Emergency Medicine, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage clinical teams.
  
  
  • Previous leadership or administrative experience in an emergency department setting is highly desirable.
