Are you an Emergency Medicine physician seeking a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We have openings for two dedicated physicians to join our team, providing coverage and Almeda, Texas. This engaging opportunity offers a flexible schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts, and weekend availability is required.


Position Overview:

  • Rate: Competitive, Max Rate $375 (New Submissions Only)

Qualifications and Requirements:


To be considered for this dynamic opportunity, the ideal candidates must meet the following criteria:



  • Specialty Required: Emergency Medicine

  • State Medical License: Texas (Required)

  • Residency Requirements: Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited EM residency program

  • Board Certification: Required

  • Board Eligible: Accepted

  • Certification Requirements: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS

  • Life Certification Requirements: Board Eligible, ACLS & PALS

Pearland:



  • Facility Annual Volume: Unknown

  • ED Volume: 28k?31k avg per yr

  • ED/Fast Track Bed Count: Unknown

  • EMR: MediTech

  • ED Patient Per Hr: 3?

  • Trauma Designation: Level IV

  • Specialty Back Up: Cardiology, OBGYN, General Surgery, Oncology


Almeda:



  • Facility Annual Volume: Unknown - New

  • ED Volume: Unknown since this is a new building

  • ED/Fast Track Bed Count: 10

  • EMR: MediTech

  • ED Patient Per Hr: Anticipates 15 per day

  • Specialty Back Up: Transfers to Houston Pearland
