Join a multi-specialty employed group that is seeking an Endocrinologist for its Diabetes Center. You will be serving patients in eastern and shoreline CT, southern and western RI and Fisher’s Island, NY.  This area is rapidly growing with 165+ providers in 16


The Diabetes Center is affiliated with a top rated Medical School and it provides a comprehensive diabetes management program and endocrine ; Its mission is to provide state-of-the-art diabetes and endocrine medical care within a team ; The team includes the following specialists:  Diabetologist, Endocrinologist, Nurse Practitioner, Diabetes Nurse Educator, Registered Dietician and other specialists.


Qualifications:



  • MD or DO Degree

  • Licensed in State of Connecticut & Rhode Island

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology

  • EMR experience preferred

  • Interest in diabetes in pregnancy (will train)


Specifics:



  • Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week (includes scheduled patient hours and administrative time)

  • Call:  1 weekend in 4  (after hours office call – outpatient only)

  • See 18-20 patients per day (depending on complexity)

  • Collaborate with a dedicated and experienced support team
