  • Compensation: Education, Experience and Skills/Training:
    - or ; current licensure in good standing & no history of discipline against licenses.
    - Current Board Certification: preferred certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or OB/GYN
    - Minimum five years successful medical practice
    - FQHC Experience; Leadership, EMR Savvy; Understanding of Value-Based Purchasing/Risk-Based Contracting

  • Additional Info: The role of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at La Familia Medical Center (LFMC) is a full time position including direct patient care and executive leadership for planning, implementation & delivery of all direct medical services to patients. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer. Time commitments of this position will include approx. 40% direct patient, 60% medical administrative duties.
    The CMO has primary responsibility for ensuring the QI/QA program; works collaboratively leadership to facilitate effective clinical support services & overall patient service operations, & to ensure compliance w/applicable laws, regulations, & standards; maintains professional relationships with state & local community leaders & agencies to advocate on behalf of LFMC & its patients & the medically underserved; supervises a budgeted staff of program ;/li>
