Position: Hospitalist NP/PA Location: High Point, NC MPLT Healthcare is looking for NP/PA's who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Hospitalist NP/PA with highly competitive pay rates in High Point, NC. Position Details:
Working 12 hour shifts on medical-surgical floor or the open ICU unit
Commonly seen cases: COPD exacerbations/PNA, sepsis due to UTI, osteomyelitis, hip fractures, GI bleeds, TIA/CVA, gastroenteritis/AKI, IVDU/endocarditis, CHF exacerbations, a fib RVR, COVID (sometimes intubated), DKA.
Responsibilities include, rounding and formulating independent assessments of these patients, placing all necessary orders, coordinating with consults, having goals of care discussions, family meetings. APP will also be responsible for admitting patients, working with case management for discharge planning and discharge orders.
Physician assistant or Acute care certified Nurse least 1 yearprior inpatient experiences required (preferably 2+ years of experience)
