Successful Multi-specialty group in coastal North Carolina is seeking a Hospitalist to join its program.  The hospital is located just 90 minutes south of Norfolk, VA near the beautiful beaches of North Carolina’s Outer Banks.  The area have been named one of NC’s “Great Places” by the American Planning Association and offers a desirable climate with mild winters and all four seasons – ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.  The group employs over 350 providers including primary care and specialists and they are seeking a candidate who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  Job details include:

·         7 days on/7 days off; 7 AM – 5 PM with 3 nights call  

·         ICU/Critical Care duties; 4-bed ICU  

·         Average inpatient census is 15 patients per day  

·         Required procedures include intubation, thoracentesis, central lines, lumbar puncture, EKG interpretation
