Associate Directors Purpose:


As the Associate Program Director, your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Fostering an environment conducive to resident growth and development.

  • Educating residents to meet the needs of the community and provide compassionate care.

  • Guiding residents to partner with diverse, underserved populations.

  • Preparing residents to deliver comprehensive family medicine care in a changing healthcare landscape.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Engage in approximately 80% preceptorship and 20% clinical practice.

  • Provide one day per week of direct outpatient care and four days per week of supervising/administering residents.

  • Assist in residency program practice management and overall operations.

  • Support the Program Director in resident recruitment and selection.

  • Maintain ongoing clinical activity consistent with ACGME guidelines.

  • Participate in teaching residents through clinical and didactic work.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Current board certification in Family Medicine by ABFM or AOBFP.

  • Eligibility for unrestricted Active Medical Staff Privileges.

  • Understanding of ACGME accreditation requirements.

  • History of academic achievements and scholarly activity.

  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.

  • Core faculty experience preferred.
