  • Requirements:

    • Doctor of Medicine () or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine ()

    • Board Certification by ABFM or AOBFM

    • Valid Georgia State Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

    • Current Certificate

    • No restriction from participation with Medicaid and/or Medicare programs

    • Ability to obtain credentials from appropriate health plans and covered by CRMC malpractice liability carrier



  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • FQHC/CHC experience

    • Prior teaching experience

    • Experience working with medically underserved populations

    • Experience with EMR (specifically, Meditech)

    • Bilingual in Spanish/English




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care.

  • Assess patient's health status, manage comprehensive medical care, and advise patients on preventative measures.

  • Precept residents in the clinic, maintain accountability for assigned resident attestation notes, and provide oversight in patient appointments.

  • Teach and train resident physicians and medical students in Family Medicine.

  • Evaluate residents using competency-based/milestone evaluations and act as an advisor for assigned residents.

  • Assist in developing and delivering an engaging learning curriculum and environment.

  • Participate in faculty development activities, faculty meetings, and program committees.

  • Serve on committees, including the Program Evaluation Committee, Clinical Competency Committee, and others as required.


Qualifications:



  • Doctor of Medicine () or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine ()

  • Board Certification by ABFM or AOBFM

  • Valid Georgia State Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

  • Current Certificate

  • No restriction from participation with Medicaid and/or Medicare programs

  • Preferred: FQHC/CHC experience, prior teaching experience, experience working with medically underserved populations, experience with Meditech EMR, bilingual in Spanish/English.
