Full-Time Locum Gastro Providers Wanted in Iowa!


Are you a skilled Gastroenterologist looking for an exciting locum tenens opportunity? We have an urgent need for three Full-Time Locum Gastro Providers to join our healthcare team near Afton, IA. If you're ready to embark on a rewarding locum tenens experience, here are the details:


Assignment Details:



  • Schedule: 24-Hour Call (7 am - 7 am) with Outpatient hours from 8 am - 4 pm.

  • Coverage Options: Locum will work either Outpatient procedures or Hospital Coverage, based on facility needs.

  • Assignment Type: Facility is open to Locum, Locum to Perm, or Permanent positions.

  • Reason for Coverage: Short staffing issues necessitate immediate support.

  • Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 3 weeks per month or Full-Time, as required.

  • Call Ratio: Varies; specific details will be discussed during the interview.

  • Clinical Areas: Adult Gastroenterology.

  • Onsite Resources: Fully equipped with an onsite lab and X-ray facilities.

  • Patient Load:

    • Outpatient: 10-12 patients per day.

    • Hospital: Varies, averaging 5-10 patients per day.



  • Physicians in Group: Join a team of four dedicated professionals.

  • Average Patients Per Day (Clinic): 14.

  • EMR: Cerner in the Hospital, AllScripts in the Clinic.

  • Required Procedures: Details are provided in the attached Practice Description.

  • Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 4-6 months.
