Looking for a rewarding locum tenens opportunity? We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide temporary coverage at an inpatient facility near Avondale, CO. This role offers a flexible schedule, competitive rates, and the chance to work with a dedicated healthcare team.

  • Position Type: Locum Tenens, Physician Gastroenterology

  • Schedule:

    • December 20 (7 AM) December 27 (7 AM)

    • January 3 (7 AM) January 10 (7 AM)

    • January 31 (7 AM) February 7 (7 AM)

    • February 14 (7 AM) February 21 (7 AM)

    • March 14 (7 AM) March 21 (7 AM)



  • Shift Type: 24-hour on-call, Friday (7 AM) to Friday (7 AM)

  • Location: Inpatient facility near Avondale, Colorado

  • Patient Volume:

    • Average daily census: 1525 patients

    • Daily procedures: 58 (including 12 ERCPs)

    • Average ER consults: 1012 per day

    • Admitted consults: 45 per day




Requirements



  • Qualifications:

    • Board Certification in Gastroenterology or recent fellowship completion with BC in Internal Medicine

    • Active Colorado medical license and DEA registration

    • Proficiency in performing ERCP procedures

    • Clean malpractice and background record preferred



  • Experience:

    • Recent locum tenens or hospitalist experience in gastroenterology is a plus

    • Familiarity with EPIC EMR




Compensation & Benefits
