We are actively recruiting a dedicated physician to join our esteemed healthcare team in providing comprehensive GI coverage in the Pioneer, CA area. Job Details:



  • Profession: Physician, Gastroenterologist

  • Shift(s) Description:

    • Schedule: Monday 8am - Monday 8am (7 days), with additional dates as needed

    • Shift Times: 8am-5pm in-house, with phone call coverage from 5pm to 8am



  • Weekend Requirements: Yes

  • On-Call Requirements: Yes

  • Start Date: As soon as credentialed

  • Average Worked Callback Hours: (national average)

  • Setting: Inpatient

  • Duties: Provide in-house coverage for ED consults and inpatient consults

  • FTE:

  • Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, endoscopy, ERCP if possible

  • EMR: Cerner

  • Support Staff: Yes, in the endo room

  • Reason for Coverage: Shortage of GI physicians for call

  • Dealbreakers: Red flags in application that would delay credentialing


Additional Details:



  • Admissions per Day: Depends on ED activity

  • Patients/Day: 10-15 on average

  • Types of Cases: General acute GI patients
