Are you a skilled Gastroenterologist seeking a locum tenens opportunity in Renton, WA? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to join our team on a temporary basis. Below are the details of the position:

Opportunity Details:


Shift Schedule:



  • Shift Hours: The coverage is needed from Tuesday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Start Date: Immediate start required.


Job Description:



  • Setting: The position involves working in both an ambulatory clinic and performing outpatient hospital procedures.

  • Duties: Responsibilities include seeing new and established patients and performing EGD and colonoscopy procedures.

  • Full-Time Equivalent (FTE): The schedule is flexible, accommodating full-time or part-time availability.

  • Required Procedures: The candidate must be proficient in performing EGD and colonoscopy procedures.

  • Average Procedures Per Day: Anticipated workload of 16-18 procedures per day.

  • ERCP or EUS Requirement: ERCP or EUS procedures are not required for this role.

  • Rounding Requirement: There is no rounding requirement for this position.

  • Patient Types: The physician will see both new and established patients.

  • EMR: The facility utilizes EPIC and Provation electronic medical records systems.

  • Support Staff: Anesthesia support is provided on a one-to-one basis.

  • Reason for Coverage: This opportunity arises due to a provider's FMLA leave.

  • Dealbreakers: Candidates must have practiced within the last 5 years.


Requirements:


Certification and Licensing:



  • Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.

  • A valid Washington state medical license or willingness to obtain one is necessary.

  • A clean malpractice/background record is preferred.
