Assignment Overview:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed


• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, with 24-hour call on weekends


• Providers Accepted: Will consider multiple providers for one FTE position


• EMR System: EPIC

Required Procedures:

The ideal candidate should be proficient in various procedures including, but not limited to:

• Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry


• Esophageal Manometry Interpretation


• Small Bowel Biopsy


• Lower GI Endoscopy


• Sigmoidoscopy


• Colonoscopy


• Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube


• Capsule Deployment


• Bravo


• PH impedance


• Breath test Interpretation


• Esophogeal and Anorectal Manometry Interpretation


• Endoflip

Additional Information:

• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 3 months


• Clinical Responsibilities: Covering on-call with possible consult calls from other facilities. Interventional GI procedures are performed at a designated location.


• Specific Focus: Seeking a provider proficient in therapeutic procedures such as ERCP and EUS.

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required


• IL License: Required at the time of submission


• COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof required at the time of name clear


• Procedure Proficiency: Provider must be able to perform therapeutic procedures such as ERCP and EUS
