  • Primary responsibilities include nursing home coverage  (sub-acute  and rehab) and ambulatory clinic<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

  • Planned clinic schedule is Monday – Friday from 8:00 – 5:00

  • Join four Geriatricians along with six Nurse Practitioners and full-time nursing staff

  • Hospital practice is not required; 19 Adult Hospitalists and 2 Geriatric Hospitalists to assist with hospital admissions

  • Physician will be on call for their nursing home patients Monday-Friday and take call 1 in 10 weekdays/weekends for Geriatrics service call (for ambulatory clinic patients)

  • Established referral base

  • Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign, if desired
