Regional medical center contracts with a group of Orthopaedic Surgicalists to cover the emergency room. The program continues to grow, and the group is now looking for a 3rd ; The group is well-established, and is held in very high regard by the community and medical staff.   The Emergency Department sees roughly 40,000 patients a ; The incoming surgeon would be expected to provide 8-10 twenty-four hour shifts a ;  Compensation is $4,100 per ; Each shift generally entails between 2 and 4 surgical cases as well as rounding on post-operative ; There is also a dedicated follow-up clinic with Orthopaedic Mid-levels, technicians, and a non-surgical ; The medical center covers all of the costs associated with your practice, including medical liability insurance.
