Hospital employed hospitalist group in Southeastern Alabama is looking to add 2 more hospitalists to their existing 7. The are hiring for both a daytime and nocturnist hospitalist and the shifts are 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. Work 16 shifts per month and its block schedule. The census averages 15 and the cap is 20. The nocturnists cap is 8. The hospital is offering a generous $230,000 base salary, malpractice, relocation and full benefits. They are also offering a $10,000 sign on bonus. The community is nestled in the SE corner of Alabama and in close proximity to Florida and Georgia and has a referral area of 624,000 and serves as a shopping/retail hub. The public school system is excellent and operated by the city. There are several academic and private schools available also.
