Position: Hospitalist Location: Bakersfield, CA MPLT Healthcare is looking for physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Hospitalist with highly competitive pay rates in Bakersfield, CA. Position Details:
Day shifts, 7a-7p. Solo Day physician coverage most of the year; two Day physician coverage November - February/March. Night shifts covered by TM.
MD, no APPs
Must have active state license, DEA
Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
PRIVILEGING TIMEFRAME: 90 days, once MSO has received full application
CENSUS: from November thru March, average census for the program is 25-30 pts [two Day doctors], up to 35 in periods of high volume
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE INFORMATION [for both AHTV & AHD]:
Procedures & Codes are done by ER
Procedures are NOT required
Vents are done by Critical Care via telemed
EMR: Cerner
IM and FM candidates are eligible
