-7-day on, 7-day off schedule
-12 hour shifts (8p to 8a).
-Nocturnist admits ;8 patients, principally through the Emergency Department; Cross-cover phone calls for the group
-Compensation involves a daily stipend + billing
-Annual income of $400,000 to $500,000
