Two hospitalists needed to join an expanding group in the Santa Clarita area north of Los Angeles. Here is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving multi-specialty group in the San Fernando Valley. The daytime schedule is 7a-7p, but the in-hospital time is usually 7a-5p with alternating coverage from 5p-7p to handle 'late call' admits. The census average is around ; The hospitalist will be seeing Medi-Cal and uninsured patients. You will be expected to prioritize discharges and critically ill patients each morning and round with the case managers later in the morning. Communication with the primary care providers is expected. The group is offering a very competitive salary and will negotiate it with the candidate directly. Malpractice is covered as well as tail insurance for non-shareholders when leaving the group. This well established group has been in the community for over 40 years and they offer a shareholder option after the second year of employment.
