  • Employed position (W-2)

  • 465-bed Level II Trauma Center 

  • Competitive compensation package includes $20,000 sign-on bonus, relocation package, full benefits and malpractice coverage

  • $1,320 per 12-hour day shift

  • Annual bonuses range from $15,000-$25,000 per physician

  • Employer contributes additional 7% of annual income toward pension plan (regardless of employee contribution)

  • 10-11 physicians on staff during day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

  • Shifts scheduled in 5-7 day blocks

  • Average 2-3 discharges per day shift

  • Average 2-3 ICU patients at any given time; Pulmonary Intensivists employed by group, co-management system

  • Average 1-2 admits per day shift

  • 16-18 patients/day average

  • 16 shifts/month average workload; no cap on number of shifts

  • 90 miles north of Fresno, 90 miles east of San Francisco, 65 miles south of Sacramento
