Nocturnist Hospitalist Opening in North Central California



  •          Employed position (W-2)

  •          465-bed Level II Trauma Center

  •          Base pay:  $1,470 per night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

  •          Facilitate overnight admissions and answer calls/pages from units

  •          Average of 12-16 total admits per night (split between 2 physicians)

  •          $100 bonus for every admission over 6/night

  •          Annual bonuses range from $15,000-$25,000 per physician

  •          Average of 16 night shifts/month = $282,240 base pay + $39,200                        is estimated annual bonus/admit bonuses = approximately $321,440                   annual income

  •          Additional $20,000 sign-on bonus

  •          Employer contributes additional 7% of annual income toward pension plan            (regardless of employee contribution)

  •          $20,000 relocation package, CME allowance, full benefits and malpractice            coverage

  •          Shifts scheduled in 5-8 day blocks

  •          2 physicians on staff during night shift

  •          11 physicians on staff during day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
