This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding hospitalist group in central Connecticut. The group is looking to add a hospitalists to keep up with the growing patient population in the community. Work a Monday-Friday schedule with night and weekend call 1:3 or 1:4. The inpatient census runs 20-23 and you will work out of just one 400+ bed facility. All critical care work is done by subspecialists as well. The group is offering a guaranteed base salary along with production bonuses paid out every six months. New hospitalists can expect to make over $200,000 in their first year. The group will cover malpractice coverage, relocation assistance, and partnership is offered after the second year with no buy-in required. Full benefits include: health insurance-life insurance-week off for CME and $1,000 allowance-retirement planning. The greater Hartford area is growing rapidly due to moderate home prices and an affordable cost of living.
