- This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding hospitalist group in central Connecticut

- The group is looking to add NOCTURNIST - NIGHTS ONLY hospitalists to keep up with the growing patient population in the community

- There are currently 2 NOCTURNISTS and 1 MIDLEVEL

- Work a 7on/7off shift model - Goal is average of 8 admits per night

- The inpatient census runs 20-23 and you will work out of just one 400+ bed facility

- All critical care work is done by subspecialists - NO codes/rapid response

- They are a major teaching affiliate of local University and work with the IM residents

- There is a clinical professorship title with potential for advancement over time 

- The group is offering a guaranteed base salary along with production bonuses paid out every six months

- New hospitalists can expect to make over $220,000 in their first year

- The group will cover malpractice coverage, relocation assistance, and partnership is offered after the second year with no buy-in required

- Full benefits include: health insurance-life insurance-week off for CME and $1,000 allowance-retirement planning

- The greater Hartford area is growing rapidly due to moderate home prices and an affordable cost of living
