Shifts available: 7:00am-7:00pm & 7:00pm-7:00am
Closed ICU
Need both day and night shifts covered
Subspecialty Support Available: Yes
Average Day Census: 28 (average of 14 per team)
2 doctors on during the day, 0 swings, 1 on at night
4-6 total for day and night average admissions per doc
Day: Rounding on all of their team's patients plus admitting for either AM or PM depending on schedule. Night: Admitting and responding to any pages. Usually the night doc does not need to round.
ER docs runs the codes but hospitalists respond to them
No procedures required
