Position: Hospitalist Location: Lexington, KY MPLT Healthcare is looking for physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Hospitalist with highly competitive pay rates in Lexington, KY. Position Details:
Shifts 7p-7a, average of 4-10 admissions per night, it varies
Need Nocturnists badly, APPs on with them until 2am, Sun-Thurs
Nocturnist has to intubate and respond to all codes, rapid responses, and stroke alerts (expect ED)
Internal Medicine only (Ideally no family medicine unless provider is a superstar)
EMR is Meditech (Familiar with the system)
ICU coverage: We do cover the ICU (doc should be comfortable with that)
Codes: All docs are expected to respond to their own codes but another doctor will be there to assist as well (Typically the team leader)
Specialty backups: Yes all specialties are present other than neuro
Procedures: No
Active ACLS (if its expired by 1 day they cannot work if renewal is not done)
