Position: Neuro Hospitalist Location: Coon Rapids, MN MPLT Healthcare is looking for physicians who Understand the Urgency, Never Give Up, and Have the Courage to Excel in the forever changing medical industry! We have numerous opportunities for an experienced Neuro Hospitalist with highly competitive pay rates in Coon Rapids, MN. Position Details:
Ideal start date: July 2, 2021
Shift times: 6a - 6p (12 hours)
Shifts per month: 5-10, 10 hour shifts per month
Support Staff: Neuro ICU MD and NP
Patient Volume: 7-15 patients per day. 3-5 new consults per inpatient neuro coverage.
Patient Population: Adult, no peds
EMR: Excellian (EPIC) *prior experience w/ this system is preferred but not required
Locum will be responsible for consults and follow-ups. No admits.
Certifications Required: Board Certification - Neurology
Certifications Preferred: Neurohospitalist Fellowship would be nice but not an absolute criterion
Minimum experience required: 1-2 years post training experience in hospital based / inpatient work
