Seeking day and night-time hospitalists
Hours are 7a-7p, 7p-7a
docs on during the day, 1 at night
The hospitalist provides medical consultation for their Med/Surge, open ICU, Labor and Delivery, inpatient psych, Same Day Surgery, ED, and Joint care camp.
Average daily census in Med/Surge is 12 patients/day & Med/Surge 2 (joint care camp) is 4 patients/day
They average 3 admissions/day on both of the med/surgical units
Average length of stay in Med/Surge is days
Average daily census in ICCU is 2 patients/day
Average 1 admissions per day in the ICCU and avg length of stay is 2 days
Have sub-specialty back up on site if needed
EMR is Paragon, going to EPIC in November
