Locums Hospitalist needed in Texas

Start date October 3rd - ongoing

Minimum shifts per month 7

7a- 7p, 7p- 7a—12 hours shifts

Charting: EMR McKesson

Procedures NOT required

270 bed facility

Rapid Response: Yes

ICU Involvement: round ICU patients

Respond to codes

Active ACLS and BLS required

Active TX license, TX CSR, and TX DEA required

17- 19 patients per day

4 hospitalists day, 1 at night

Total encounters for the program is averaging 77 per day

IM candidate preferred

FP MUST HAVE a strong hospitalist experience (more than 5 years’ experience)

BE and BC accepted

If BE, need to be out of residency within 3 years

Sub specialties are onsite

Temporary privileges will be available
