Located near Walker, IA, is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Hospitalist to provide coverage during 72-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday. Job Details:

  • Shift Type: Days (72-hour shifts in-house)

  • Weekend Requirements: Friday 7 am - Monday 7 am

  • On Call Requirements: N/A

  • Mandated Job Requirements:

    • Board Certified (ABMS or AOA)

    • Experience in the ED

    • Active Iowa license (Highly Preferred)

    • Local candidates preferred

    • BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP

Job Description: Actively seeking an ED Hospitalist to provide coverage during 72-hour shifts on Fridays through Sundays. The role involves sporadic coverage to support the core team during periods of unavailability due to sickness, vacation, etc. The hospital, a state-certified Level IV Trauma Center and Critical Access Hospital, offers a comprehensive range of services, including surgery, preventive care, inpatient hospice care, and specialty clinics.
