An outstanding multi-specialty group in San Fernando Valley is hiring an Infectious Disease-Hospitalist for a 50/50 position. You will simply work 50% Infectious Disease consults and 50% Hospitalist admitting and rounding. The census average is around ; The hospitalist will be seeing Medi-Cal and uninsured patients. You will be expected to prioritize discharges and critically ill patients each morning and round with the case managers later in the morning. Communication with the primary care providers is expected. The group is offering a very competitive salary and will negotiate it with the candidate directly. Malpractice is covered as well as tail insurance for non-shareholders when leaving the group.
