This position is both inpatient and outpatient. See an average of 20 to 30 patients per day. The call schedule is 1 in 4. The payer mix is 60% Medicare/Medicaid and 30% are other insurances. The inpatient census is 5-8. The hospital has 20 beds. There are 10 physicians on staff. The service area is 7,000 people. The specialties they have on staff are: General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Cardiology. The local community population is 4,000.
