Join a 5 person Internal Medicine group looking to add another Internist, in Southwest Florida. You will do a combination of outpatient and inpatient. You will work as a hospitalist every 6th week and then you will not take call the other 5 weeks. The practice consists of 70% geriatrics and trending younger as the area is becoming less seasonal. You will see an average of 22-24 patients per day. The office uses electronic medical records and has a lab on site. Also the practice has on site: a diagnostic ultrasound, bone density machine and nuclear cardiology testing. The hospital that are you affiliated with has 200 beds. The population is 50,000. This community is located on the Gulf of Mexico. Major activities participated in are: golf, boating, tennis and water sports. This is an employed position by the group.
