This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding state-of-the-art senior care practice in the vibrant "Mid-City" neighborhood of New Orleans. A successful family-owned outpatient care clinic is looking to hire an additional Internal Medicine physician to provide Medicare-friendly service to the patients. The group sees patients ages 65+ in an outpatient only setting. You will work Monday-Friday starting at 7:30am with the last patients scheduled at 4:10pm (with an hour lunch break). There is absolutely no hospital work or inpatient admits/rounding required. The shared phone call schedule is 1:7. Each office uses cutting-edge technologies including an on-site, robotic pharmacy to make the patient experience better. Each physician has a patient panel of 550, which allows for amazing continuity of care. The group is offering a first year guaranteed salary of $175,000 with $15,000 sign-on bonus. In the second year, there is a base salary increase and performance-based incentive bonuses. These bonuses are based on patient satisfaction surveys, and not productivity. Each physician also receives malpractice coverage, relocation, and full benefits including: health-disability-life insurance-401k with company match-16 vacation days-6 holidays-5 CME days and $1000 allowance.
