  • Additional Info:
    The physician will:
    - Be responsible for examining adult patients to ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
    - Request necessary tests, follow-up visits, and refers patients to specialists, as necessary
    - Manage common medical problems encountered in primary care clinics and manage selected chronic illnesses
    - Provide health education to adults, promote healthy lifestyles, and importance of preventative health initiatives.
    - Effectively diagnose patients and suggest a successful course of treatment, prescribe, and administer medications, immunizations, and other non-surgical treatments
    - Monitor patient conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary
    - Order screening tests and other measures that aid in the diagnostic process, and review reports, labs, x-rays, EKGs, and all other screening methods.
    - Perform minor procedures, as needed
