Join a growing internal medicine practice with 5 physicians and 5 NP/PA’s just outside Springfield, MA and Hartford, CT. They have two options for employment. First is to work outpatient only, Monday to Friday from 9 to 5. No call, no nights and no weekends. This will be an employed position with a competitive salary, malpractice and benefits but no partnership track. The second option is to work 2 weeks a month in the office, 1 week a month as a hospitalist and one week fully off. The office is open Monday to Thursday from 8:45 to 9:00pm, Friday from 8:45 to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:45 to noon. During the office weeks the physicians work two late nights. The physicians also all work one Saturday per month. This position is partnership tracked and the doctors in the group ar earning more that the subspecialists in the area. Malpractice and full benefits are also provided. The hospital is 100 beds and has no trauma. The serving area is over 85,000 people. There are 100 physicians with active staff privileges and another 150 with courtesy. This is an employed position with a competitive salary around $150,000, malpractice and full benefits. The community is located 2 hours from Boston, 2 1/2 hours from New York City, and 20 miles to Springfield, MA and 40 minutes to Hartford, CT. The Berkshire Mountain Range is also very close and offers just about every outdoor activity.
