6 person group in North West New Mexico is looking to recruit a new Internal Medicine physician. This is a traditional practice. Hospital has 70 beds in the main hospital and 20 at behavioral health services. There are 45 physicians employed by the hospital, 3 independent ER physicians and contracted Radiologists. Specialties on staff include: Pediatrics, IM, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Pulmonology/Critical Care, Urology, Ob/Gyn, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Peds and Adult orthopedic surgeon, Psychiatry, FP, General Surgery, Anesthiology, EM, Pathology, Ophthalmology, and Endocrinology. Population is 22,000, but on the weekends it can increase to 50,000. There are public and private school systems. Low cost of living. Four seasons with mild climate. Beautiful red rocks. Slow easy life style and scenic beauty, history and culture. Albuquerque is 2 hours from this community and Flagstaff AZ is 2 1/2 hours. There is a plethora of outdoor activities in this area including hiking, biking, rock climbing, and golfing. This is an employed position by the hospital. Salary is based on MGMA guidelines plus bonus structure.
