3 physician, hospital employed, internal medicine group is looking for a third physician in the Syracuse, New York area. Work a four day office schedule and share in a ¼ four call schedule. Work at only one non for profit full service community hospital located in the heart of the city. About 5,000 surgeries are performed at the hospital each year. The hospital is the primary healthcare facility in the community. Additionally, the hospital has enjoyed over 20 years of financial stability. This can be attributed to strong, progressive leadership and participation demonstrated by both the Hospital’s Medical Staff and it’s Administration. The most exciting endeavor currently underway is the Hospital’s $28 million expansion which includes new state-of-the-art OR suites, ICU/CCU, Ambulatory Services, and Maternity. The Hospital recently celebrated the opening of its new Surgery Center, which is equipped with state of the art Technology in each of its 4 major and 3 minor operating Community is mid sized with a population of 20K and the county has 125K. It is located on majestic Lake Ontario, the 13th largest fresh water lake in the world. Recreation activities includes biking, hiking, golfing, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Many lakeside and riverfront cafes and fine dining restaurants. Home to State University – College (Undergraduate, graduate programs; brings approx. 8,000 students to our community).
